Evans Lizardos quits his day job and opens Lizardos Engineering

His brother George Lizardos joins Evans on the venture
They opened the Albertson office in 1974
Douglas Pavone and Lewis Damrauer were named principals
Lizardos staff had outgrown the Albertson office and in 1995 the firm moved to its current office in Mineola
Ralph Aldorasi, John Lizardos and George Lombardo were named principals in 1998
Office outgrew its office and leased 2 additional spaces in the building for the Accounting and Plumbing and Fire Protection Departments
Marios Tinis was named principal in 2000
Space in Mineola opened up across the hall and Lizardos was able to merge the space into the existing office. This provided the room need to merge the company into one space
In 2004 Lizardos opened an office in New York City in Penn Plaza.
By 2007 a larger space was acquired on W. 35th Street
In 2017 Dirk Anderson, Andrew Dubel, and Steve Sonmez were named principals
NYC Office needed additional space and a new office was opened on West 37th Street in 2018
Matthew Liff and Patrick Tennant were named Principals in 2019
Lizardos once again expanded the office to house our growing pharmaceutical staff
